The DAYAN Project Was Introduced at the International EACME 2024 Congress

The DAYAN research project, carried out under the TÜBİTAK 3005 program, was presented to the international academic community at the annual congress of the European Association of Centres of Medical Ethics (EACME), held in Halle in 2024.

In the presentation delivered by M. Volkan Kavas, the project was introduced and the fundamental framework of the research was shared with participants within the scope of the study titled “Moral Injury Experiences and Perceptions of Self as a Moral Subject of Healthcare Workers Working in and behind the Field in the Earthquakes of February 6, 2023 in Türkiye”.

In the presentation, the methodological structure of the DAYAN project, the stages of the research, and the data collection processes were detailed, and preliminary findings from its quantitative phase were presented. This presentation, delivered on an international academic platform, increased the visibility of the project.
